Texell invites all employees to engage in friendly competition against other local companies in events such as kickball, softball, 5k run/walk, volleyball, washers, disc golf, and more!

You could also join us for Family Day! Each year, Texell hosts a fun event for employees and their families. Past events have included a baseball game at Dell Diamond or an evening at Topgolf -- just a small thank you to our Texell family and their families.

Transparency in Coverage
The Consolidated Appropriations Act’s Transparency in Coverage Rules require group health plans to disclose on a public website information regarding in-network provider rates and historical out-of-network allowed amounts and billed charges for covered items and services in two separate machine-readable files (MRFs).  The MRFs for the benefit package options under the Texell Credit Union health plans are at the following link: Read more about BCBSTX coverage.
  • Brandy - Lending Brandy - Lending

    Brandy joined Texell in July 2008 and is currently a Consumer Loan Underwriter. She succeeded at Texell by embracing our unique culture of hard work and teamwork. “The culture that we live by every day allows for a courteous and friendly environment. Teamwork is a huge part of our culture here at Texell. It is how we create new ideas and implement them to help simplify our members’ lives.” Texell is constantly striving to provide the best possible products and services to members – and it starts with the staff. Behind the scenes, Texell works to constantly train staff and expand their knowledge. “It is not only a job but an ongoing educational experience.”

  • Wes - Texell Financial Wes - Texell Financial

    Wes started working for Texell in July 2016 as a Part-Time Teller at the West Adams branch. After seven months he joined Texell Financial as an Insurance Agent and worked at both the Cedar Park and the Georgetown branches. He was promoted to Senior Agent in 2020 and became Assistant Agency Manager in 2021. Wes is now the Agency Manager of Texell Financial where he helps members with insurance quotes, bundling policies, and more. "One of the best parts of working for Texell is that you are given the room and resources to reach and exceed your potential!"

  • Diana - Lending Diana - Lending

    Diana joined Texell in June 1981, and it’s no surprise she loves working at Texell. “I have loved working at Texell because of the people I have been fortunate to work with, as well as the managers I have worked for. Many of my current and previous co-workers are like family to me.” Texell prides itself on enhancing and improving the financial lives of our members – something that Diana makes a difference in every single day. “The most rewarding part of my job is that I have the privilege of being able to help people and make a difference in their lives.” Volunteer work is important to Diana, especially contributing to Feed My Sheep through Texell Serves. “I feel that Texell is truly making a difference in lives, by not just providing food, but showing love and compassion for others who are less fortunate within our communities.” For over 40 years, Diana has embraced the simple key to being successful at Texell. “If you work hard, have a little fun, and do what is right, you will be successful.”

  • Galen - Commercial Services Galen - Commercial Services

    Galen joined Texell in October 2011 as a Financial Service Specialist. Over a decade, Galen has excelled in numerous positions leading sales teams and various branches. Seeing employees succeed is just one of the rewarding aspects of working at Texell. “There is nothing better than witnessing someone succeed when you know they have given it their all. We love friendly competition at all levels, and we can turn anything into a competition.” In his new position as VP of Commercial Services, Galen helps our commercial members succeed by promoting business growth and development. “Texell is a wonderful company with a lot of potential for anyone looking for a place to grow their career. ”

  • Monica - Commercial Services Monica - Commercial Services

    Monica started her journey with Texell in September 2015 as a Part-Time Teller. On her way to her current position as Business Officer, she held multiple positions including Financial Service Specialist, Assistant Branch Manager, and Branch Manager for the West Adams branch. She was immediately drawn to Texell’s culture and commitment to serving our members. “We have fun, work hard, and are passionate about helping our members achieve their financial dreams.” The support Texell provides internally to ensure members are having the best experience is unmatched. “Every day we are learning how to better serve our community, members, and each other. Our culture is contagious and unique. We celebrate others and we overcome obstacles together.”

  • Tayler - Mortgage Tayler - Mortgage

    Tayler started at Texell in March 2012 as a Teller at the South Temple Branch on 31st St. She then transitioned over to the Mortgage Department to become a Loan Processor. From there she became the Mortgage Operations Coordinator and eventually Mortgage Loan Closer. She’s finally landed where she’s meant to be as Mortgage Underwriter, helping members achieve their dream of homeownership, refinancing, and meeting other home loan needs. “Texell was my first big job right out of high school! The culture and family atmosphere have kept my feet planted here at Texell. There are many co-workers that have become like family.”
