We don’t have a one-size-fits-all culture. And we’re very transparent about that. It’s what makes Texell different. Goals are a way of life for us. Each day, every team member works to not only meet our goals but to exceed them. How do we do that? By ensuring that service to our members and service to each other is the top priority. If a staff member isn’t directly helping one of our 40,000 members, they’re helping someone who is. Frankly, that’s how we continue to be successful.

Over the years, Texell has earned prestigious awards and honors, such as:

  • 2019 and 2020 Best Credit Union to Work for in the nation
  • Carter Blood Care “2018 Newcomer of the Year”
  • Winner of the Excellence in Lending Award
  • Winner of the Low/Modest Means Lending Award
  • Winner of the Consumer Lending Award
  • Voted #1 as the Best Credit Union in Central Texas
  • Voted #1 as the Best Credit Union in Bell County
  • Voted Best Credit Union in Belton, Killeen, and Temple

Texell Serves is our robust community service program. We don’t just write checks — we get hands-on. You can learn more by tapping the “Volunteer” tab above.

We work hard, but we also play hard. Perhaps you’d like to display your athleticism while competing in Corporate Challenge. Not an athlete, but you’d like to try? We’ll be behind you all the way! Texell invites all employees to engage in friendly competition against other local companies in events such as kickball, softball, 5k run/walk, volleyball, washers, disc golf, and more!

You could also join us for Family Day! Each year, Texell hosts a fun event for employees and their families. Past events have included a baseball game at Dell Diamond or an evening at Topgolf -- just a small thank you to our Texell family and their families.

And that’s not all; Texell’s annual awards banquet is nothing short of over the top. Enjoy one of the many surprises the night could offer - dueling pianos, casino tables, stand-up comedians ... the possibilities are always endless at Texell.

Spend some time with us, and you’ll see accountability, trust, teamwork — and everyone working hard to make a difference in the communities we serve.
